Metcal Soldering Station Pass SmartHeat®Technology has led the way in manual welding for 35 years.
The SmartHeat can sense the thermal load and can immediately transmit power directly to the solder joint on demand.
The embedded self-adjusting heater provides the right power according to the requirements of the solder joint. This provides a fast, safe and repeatable process without calibration.

The thickness of the intermetallic compound is critical in forming the solder joint. Connection verification (CV) evaluates the quality of solder joints by calculating intermetallic compound formation and provides closed-loop feedback to the operator.
