Permatex®Detector Safe Blue RTV Silicone Gasket Sealant
The original Permatex blue silicone gasket generator is a "create in place" gasket generator that resists shrinkage, cracking, and movement. This product will cross-link into a flange seal that prevents leakage and is resistant to oil and factory fluids, which can enhance the performance of the gasket. The interstitial temperature ranges from -65 °F to 500 °F (-54°C to 260°C). A gap of 0.25 inches can be filled when fully cured. Suggested application: As a gasket forming agent for soft flanges, used to coat various pre-cut gaskets.
