Permatex®High Strength Thread Sealant (Red)
High-strength thread sealant is suitable for 3/8 inch to 1 inch (10mm to 25mm) and is used on bolts that are permanently locked and prevent bolts from loosening due to vibration. Added 3,000PSI retention on slide and press-fit assemblies. Replace the set screw and snap ring. Prevent vibration from loosening. Heat or special tools may be required to remove it. Complies with ASTMD5363AN0221 Mil-Spec(S-46163A) Type I Grade K. Suggested applications: skeleton bolts, structural supports, hydraulic bolts.
