Permatex®High temperature resistant thread sealant (red)
This product is a high-temperature/high-strength thread sealant for heavy-duty applications. It not only prevents bolts from loosening due to shaking, severe vibration and thermal stress from 3/8 inch to 1-1/2 inch (10mm to 38mm), but also has a unique structure required to withstand very high temperatures. This product is suitable for temperatures up to 450 °F(232°C). Heat and hand-held tools must be used for removal. Suggested applications: structural supports, hydraulic bolts, brackets for shock absorbers, skeleton bolts.
